Think of it like a curtain and rod—the brows are the rod, and the eyelid skin is the curtain. 🎭 When you’re considering a blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) or any facial aging procedure, we always assess the balance between your brows and upper eyelids.
If your brows are drooping but you don’t have much excess skin on the upper eyelids, a simple brow lift might be enough to give you that youthful look. On the other hand, if your brows are in a good position but you have a lot of excess upper eyelid skin, an upper eyelid blepharoplasty could be the best solution for a refreshed appearance. ✨
It’s important to be conservative when removing skin from the eyelids, especially if we might address the brows later. Removing too much skin could affect the way your eyelids close. So we always take a balanced, careful approach to ensure the best results.

Recovery after a facelift is usually very comfortable with mild discomfort and swelling but it is a procedure that required adequate rest and recovery. Therefore we require all patients undergoing a facelift with me to stay in the south Florida area for 7 days and most successful patients tend to stay 10-11 days.

We did a comprehensive full facial rejuvenation with upper eyelids, facial fat transfer, deep plane facelift, and deep necklift. After all that we reversed years of sun damage with laser resurfacing for the final pop.

One of the challenges with a full neck or double chin is that it can make even younger or thinner patients appear overweight. To address this, I often recommend a neck lift over liposuction. A neck lift allows me to contour all seven layers of the neck—skin, underlying fat, platysma muscle, submandibular glands, and subplatysmal fat—resulting in a beautifully defined neckline.
While liposuction can offer modest improvements in the right candidate (young, no extra skin, no stretch marks), it may not provide the dramatic results some are hoping for. In fact, attempting to achieve significant results with liposuction alone can lead to less-than-ideal outcomes, like trading a full neck for wrinkly skin.
